The Third Man (1949) Japanese Movie Program
Pulp novelist Holly Martins travels to shadowy, postwar Vienna, only to find himself investigating the mysterious death of his childhood friend Harry Lime, played by Orson Welles. This begins a legendary tale of love, deception, and murder. Carol Reed's cinematic classic combines Anton Karas's evocative score, Graham Greene’s sharp dialogue and Robert Krasker’s dramatic use of light and shadow to make The Third Man a lasting and essential film.
The film isn't currently streaming anywhere in the UK as of posting this but I'd highly recommend seeking it out.
This is one of many Japanese Movie Program's we currently have in stock, full of brilliant large stills from the film and behind the scenes in both colour and black and white. Text in Japanese.
