Is he the best looking man to ever live? Maybe. Great large format softbound book documenting his filmography from 1954 to 1971 with great stills and descriptions of the varied and iconic pictures Paul Newman took part in. Seemingly underrated as an actor, some of his best films and best parts have drifted by the wayside.

Highly recommend checking out 1964’s ‘What a way to go!’ in particular, which pops up on The Criterion Chsnnel every now and then. Here’s our personal top 10 Paul Newman performances, we always recommend getting the physical copies when you can!

Honorary mention to ‘Nobodys Fool’, fantastic film starring Newman in later life alongside Melanie Griffith, Bruce Willis and a young Philip Seymour Hoffman. If you’ve still not had your fill, check out Ethan Hawkes’ documentary series ‘The Last Movie Stars’ from 2022 which documents Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s iconic careers and decades-long partnership.
