Get to know the unknown. Tarantula is an experimental prose poetry collection by Bob Dylan, written in 1964 and 1965. It was published in 1971. It employs a stream of consciousness-like writing style, somewhat similar to Jack Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, and Allen Ginsberg. His only work of fiction—the combination of prose, lyrics, and poetry gives fans and readers insight into the mind of the folk poet laureate.
