A small first edition pocket book put out by Hanuman Books in 1990. Based out of the Chelsea Hotel and run by art critic Raymond Foye and artist Francesco Clemente between 1986 and 1993, Hanuman Books put together a 50 book series formatted to resemble Indian prayer books concentrating on the avant-garde culture of the New York scene.
Edited by Clinton Heylin. This copy consists of 62 mini-sermons preached by Dylan on stage and elsewhere during his Christian conversion (1978-1980). Index of locations and dates in the back of the book. Many come from performances of ‘Slow Train Coming’, 1979 & ‘Saved’, 1980.
