The film that has become ubiquitous with cinephilia, but a rare case of being wholly and completely justifiable in that status, in our opinion anyway. In an age of constant visual content it makes sense for a film that encapsulates the ‘every frame a painting’ descriptor to be so widely adored, popularised and repurposed.
