A collection of short stories by Canadian-American author Jane Rule. Jane became an icon of lesbian fiction writing multiple novels and collections of short stories across her career. Later becoming an active anti-censorship campaigner following the outrage her books brought.
This first edition is a large format paperback published by NAIAD Press, an American publishing company operating from 1973 to 2003 as one of the first dedicated to lesbian literature. At its closing it was the oldest and largest lesbian/feminist publisher in the world.
