Super scarce US edition of Babel, another Patti Smith classic which is long overdue a reprint. It contains Smith's poems along with her prose, lyrics, photos and drawings.
BABEL was first published in the USA in early 1978 to enormous critical and popular acclaim. Her hero/ines range from Albertine Sarrazin to Jean Genet to Rimbaud to Bob Dylan, but her voice and style is hers alone. Surreal, erotic, witty, Patti Smith was a major force in 70s music and literature.
