Sold our Hanuman collection at the last pop up so where better to start back up than the first ever edition! This small first edition pocket book by american writer and poet John Wieners, featuring Marlene Dietrich on the cover.
This is the first pocket book put out by Hanuman Books in 1986. Based out of the Chelsea Hotel and run by art critic Raymond Foye and artist Francesco Clemente between 1986 and 1993, Hanuman Books put together a 50 book series formatted to resemble Indian prayer books concentrating on the avant-garde culture of the New York scene.
