In this 4\/5th issue of the publication, we focus on Burroughs, Throbbing Gristle and Brion Gysin\u003cem\u003e. \u003c\/em\u003eIt is arguably one of their best and features exclusive, long-form interviews with each other artists highlighted by the likes of Vale himself, Jon Savage, Gensis P-Orridge and Rapid Eye author Simon Dwyer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"sqsrte-large\"\u003eFull of beautiful illustrations and incredible black and white photos of the artists and writers featured it makes for an incredible document of the time, published in 1982 it marks the 4th release of RE\/Search books which is possibly the ONLY surviving 70s punk publisher who never quit, \u003cstrong\u003eV. Vale’s RE\/Search \u003c\/strong\u003econtinues to provide ‘Against-the-Status-Quo’ publications that stimulate the imagination and optimistic skepticism to this day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"sqsrte-large\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eVale has been doing counterculture publishing since 1977, when he founded the Punk tabloid, \u003cem\u003eSearch \u0026amp; Destroy\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e, San Francisco’s first. It was published at \u003cstrong\u003eCity Lights Bookstore\u003c\/strong\u003e, where V. Vale worked, and was funded by $100 each from \u003cstrong\u003eLawrence Ferlinghetti\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eAllen Ginsberg\u003c\/strong\u003e. Then in\u003cstrong\u003e 1980, V.
